So London The Vêrmîn Lord: A Transatlantic Journey to Musical Greatness

Born and raised in Lewisham, London, So London is an artist whose musical journey transcends borders and defies expectations. His early years in the vibrant cultural hub of South London laid the foundation for a unique blend of sounds that would later define his career. At 17, driven by an insatiable hunger for new experiences and musical influences, So London made the life-changing decision to move to America, settling in Tennessee.

In Tennessee, he immersed himself in the local music scene, drawing inspiration from Southern hip-hop legends like Project Pat, Three 6 Mafia, and Young Thug. Their gritty, raw sound resonated deeply with him, shaping his artistic vision and fueling his ambition to create music that blends his British roots with the distinct flavors of American hip-hop.

The turning point in So London’s career came in 2020 when he relocated to Miami amid the challenges of a global pandemic. It was here that he met AJ Ottaviano, the founder of Blue Chip NYC. Despite the world being in turmoil, the two immediately hit it off and began working together daily, channelling their shared passion for music into the creation of what would become So London’s most ambitious project to date.

Their collaboration resulted in “Vermin Lord,” an album that took four years to perfect. This project showcases So London’s evolution as an artist, combining his eclectic influences and experiences into a cohesive and innovative sound. The album is a testament to his resilience, creativity, and dedication to his craft.

From Lewisham to Tennessee to Miami, So London’s journey is a story of perseverance and transformation. His music not only reflects his diverse background but also his ability to adapt and thrive in different environments. With “Vermin Lord,” So London solidifies his place in the music industry, promising to leave an indelible mark on the global hip-hop scene.
