Maryland’s rap talent Rynn Kree has just released his latest single, “Blinker 2”, a smooth and funky track that showcases the unique strengths of three local voices: Kree himself, along with friend King Locus and the versatile XDeity. Blending vibrant production with laid-back delivery, Blinker 2 isn’t just a vibe—it’s a musical snapshot of years of friendship, collaboration, and spontaneity.
“Blinker 2” grooves with a nicely layered beat and infectious flow. Each artist brings a different energy to the track, and together they elevate it beyond a typical posse cut. Kree leads with his cool, confident cadence; Locus drops in with lyrical sharpness and a personal touch; and XDeity rounds it out with a verse that was, surprisingly, an impromptu addition.
“This song has a lot of history behind it,” said King Locus, reflecting on the collaboration. “I’ve been friends with Kree for years now because he’s close with my cousin, and for years we’ve been trying to get a song together—but other things just led it to never happening. I’m glad we finally got it done.”
Locus also revealed how XDeity came to be featured: “After I finished my verse for Kree, I called him and showed him, and XDeity, who was engineering and mixing for me that night, just suddenly asked if he could get on it. Twenty minutes later, his verse was there.”
The organic nature of the song’s creation is part of what makes Blinker 2 feel so real—no overthinking, just raw chemistry and energy.
Rynn Kree could be proving himself as one to watch in Maryland’s underground scene. With more releases planned through HBM, fans can expect plenty of new music from him soon. If Blinker 2 is any indication, Kree’s got both the sound and the collaborators to make serious waves.
