Worldwide is definitely a song with a feel-good vibe! This is the energy-rising Toronto artist EverythingOShaun was definitely trying to give off with this record. It was produced by Xpress aka DJ XP and mixed by 5PiECE, it is one of those songs you turn on in the gym to get pumped up while working out.
DJ XP had this to say about the production of the song;
The beat started with a 8 bar piano loop but it sounded a little too jolly so i pitched it down first. Then i added a type of ramdonizer onto it which actually accidentally made a whole new pattern and pocket. Before i “fixed” the mistake i realized how dope it sounded so i just let the piano guide me. Which then led to the 808 which gave it that bite and aggression. It started to feel like i had to continue to go big and fast so i made sure the drums were hitting but still rhythmic (shoutout to 5PiECE who made sure they still knocked after the mixing process continued on the record).
The music video was shot by Toronto videographer Marcus Letts with Creative direction by DJ XP and Kereese KP Plummer. The locations in the video are insane also the fashion direction is unmatched thanks to KP. The edits and effects are crazy, in one scene the Toronto native is rapping in next to a UFO which is breathe taking. The video has been receiving great reviews, doing big numbers on youtube. It is definitely a song to watch in 2021. EverythingOShaun has a new video dropping off of his last project and is currenlty working on a EP he plans to release in March.
