Gucci Jay is a 22-year-old independent artist from Little Rock, Arkansas who is turning the scene up in his state. He charted #76 in the world on iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Charts, with his single “Rank,” and has no plan to hit the brakes. “Rank” also features Arkansas’s own Bankroll Freddie.
Gucci Jay’s foundation is built on his consistency, work ethic, and investment in his music
career. He has worked with many artists, videographers, and producers, including everyone from Young Dolph to Metro Boomin. The list also includes Chief Keef, Sean Kingston, Rich Porter, Benny Flash, and other architects in music.
In 2020, Gucci Jay started Arkansas’s first legitimate record label, “Black Cartel Records,” and opened a professional recording studio in North Little Rock, Arkansas that he named “Black Cartel Studios.” From this point on for him, it’s feet on the gas.
