PLB Samz, The Artist formerly known as Playboy Samz a name associated with Noisy Enterprise and its wide range of characters and dramatic features.
I grew up in a small town In Oklahoma far northeast from Oklahoma City Along Highway 62. From birth I was dirt poor no cash, Only food stamps in a town with no grocery stores. So from day one I knew I was on my own.
My childhood up until the age of ten was alright because at least my Mom and dad we’re still a couple and we had Christmas and thanksgiving and all those things a child could need to make them forget about the arguments and the fact that we lived in a ran down town and the nicest homes available we’re owned by the government.
Later we moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma which was a lot closer to Oklahoma City and more Desirable, Sadly it costed me my father, I rarely seen him growing up 40 miles away from my hometown where he remained. I was 19 when he passed away.
In Shawnee I attended Jefferson elementary school where music class was a part of the curriculum, it was my favorite part of going to school and my best kept secret because i didn’t want people to think I was soft because of my passion for my music and tough exterior.
I continued to wright and create music, lyrics and melodies throughout my life in school plays and talent shows and even rap battles in the school hallway.
Even though I tried to keep my record clean and stay out of trouble to prove that you can be a rap artist without a criminal backstory I landed on probation and in and out of juvenile detention my entire childhood.
I guess trauma has its own way of showing its face.
I’m here today Thankful and free. I never stopped making music I never gave up on my passion it has always brought me out of the storm and made me stand up even when I wanted to give up.
