How does it feel to release your 4th studio album?
Cris O-D: It feels like an accomplishment I’m very proud of. I put a lot of time and effort into this project, and I’m definitely seeing the fruits of my labor.
You have a few features with heavy hitters. Which one is your favorite and why?
Cris O-D: That’s tough because I am a fan of everyone who blessed me with a feature, but if I had to choose, I’d say Curren$y because I’ve been a fan of his music for the longest.
Who’s in Cris O-D’s Playlist?
Cris O-D: Right now, as far as hip-hop goes, I’m listening to the whole Griselda, Curren$y, Boldy James, Sauce Walka, J Cole, and 21 Savage.
What were your initial feelings finding out you cracked the top 10 on the iTunes charts?
Cris O-D: Shock and surprise at first, but honestly, I put a lot of time and energy into this project, so I expect great things to come into fruition.
What was your inspiration in creating Think & Grow Richer?
Cris O-D: The book “Think & Grow Rich” was the biggest inspiration. At this moment in time, I wanted a project to reflect my mentality, and I believe I did just that.
What are your top 2 favorite albums out of your catalog?
Cris O-D: My last project, “Speak Know Evil,” and this project, “Think & Grow Richer,” only because I believe I get better with time, and they are my latest projects.
Who would you like to work with in the future?
Cris O-D: I have three artists I’d love to work with given the opportunity: Tems, The Alchemist, and J Cole.
